Instead of normal sports, the entertainment has become more violent and aggressive. Survival Racing is the biggest event of the year and takes place in cities from all over the world. PSP Spy Car Patented By Sony

Posted on Monday, April 13, 2009 in PSP Car Games

psp-remote-car The latest idea for realistic PSP racing comes from Sony and it was found among the patent filled by them for SCEE. It’s for a car that is remote controlled and its interface is the PSP. The car has a camera on it, that sends the video to the PSP. One of the possible applications mentioned for it is an augmented reality racing game, where real objects from your house are recognized as elements from the game. Using objects from your house, you can build a custom track.

Seems like an idea that has real chances for success. Looking forward for the real deal to hit the market at some point.

Posted on Monday, April 13, 2009 in PS3 Driving Games

Smash Cars is a PS3 car game that will be released in the second quarter of 2009, via the PlayStation Network. Some of the features of this game include innovative stunts, real-time physics and the latest generation graphics. This lets the players grind and gear up, twist and turn, do stunts and aerial tricks, using RC cars controlled by remote.

It’s actually a successor for the Smash Cars game that was done for PS2, which also allowed players to use RC cars. The news on the game is that it shows promise, but the controls seem to have some issues.
